On June 30,2020,headed by Mr. He Ziqian, Board Chairman of Asia Resources Development Group Co. Ltd.of Macao, a delegation of 3 company managers visited Coconut Research Institute of Chinese Academy of tropical Agricultural Sciences(CRICATAS) to seek technical support for the company to "Going Abroad" to cultivate coconuts in Cambodia and Laos. Prof. Fan Haikuo, Deputy Director of CRICATAS and coconut industry scientific research experts accompanied the investigation.

          At  the symposium, Deputy Director Fan Haikuo introduced briefly CRICATAS, scientific research achievements and development plan of the coconut industry in Hainan Province, and aimed at Board Chairman He Ziqian’s investment in Cambodia and Laos, and proposed to build the coconut standardized cultivation demonstration base according to the standards of modern agriculture. The coconut standardized cultivation demonstration base adopts techniques such as planting coconuts in wide and narrow rows under the forest, precise integration of water and fertilizer, mechanization of farming, and harvesting by the Internet management. Mr. He Ziqian expressed to cooperate with CRICATAS in depth to jointly develop overseas large-scale coconut planting.

           The delegation also visited the Germplasm Repository of Coconut, Wenchang city , Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the large-scale breeding base of excellent coconut seedlings.

            The core business of Asia Resources Development Group Co. Ltd. of Macao is overseas’ agricultural development and planting, mainly developing tropical fruit planting business in Southeast Asia. At present, the company has acquired more than 20,000 hectares of land development and using rights through Macao's "Belt and Road", and it is carrying out reclamation and planting work as planned.
