From December 5 to 6, in order to promote the construction of Oil-tea Camellia demonstration base, combine of scientific research and production of Oil-tea Camellia, and furtherly clarify the development direction of the "14th five year plan", Director General Wang Fuyou led the team, including Wang Hui, and Dr. Jia Xiaocheng visited Simaguang Oil-tea Camellia Garden in Guangshan County, Henan Province.

DG Wang Fuyou had a discussion and exchange with Hu Qingguo, Secretary of Guangshan County Forestry and Tea Industry Bureau. Secretary Hu explained in detail the original intention of the development of Oil-tea Camellia industry in Guangshan County, introduced the experience in the aspects of variety introduction and trial planting, strict standardization of eilte varieties and seedlings, "Company + Base + Farmers" development mode and scenic area management, etc., and put forward opinions and suggestions on the research direction of Oil-tea Camellia, industrial development strategy and standardized seedling management. DG Wang Fuyou introduced the current situation and planning of Oil-tea Camellia scientific research and industrial development in our institute, and proposed that both sides should jointly carry out the research on the quality differences of Oil-tea Camellia between tropical and warm temperate zones and the main pollinating insect groups. Secretary Hu agreed with Wang Fuyou's suggestion and planned to visit Coconut Research Institute as soon as possible to investigate the development of tropical woody oil industry.

After the meeting, the two sides jointly inspected the Simaguang Oil-tea Camellia Garden in Guangshan County.
