From May 18 to 20, Liu Yanju and Xu Yufen of the Tea-oil Camellia Research Center (CRI) participated in the 17th Science and Technology activity month of Hainan Province, and went to Sanya, Changjiang, Wenchang and other cities (counties) to carry out scientific and technological services to promote the new varieties of Reyan series of tea-oil camellia positively. It has been widely recognized by growers.

Assistant researcher Liu Yanju introduced in detail to the growers the variety characteristics, cultivation management and other supporting techniques of the new varieties of tea-oil camellia, and enthusiastically answered related questions such as seedling supply, planting specifications, shaping and pruning, and put forward targeted suggestions for the transformation of tea-oil camellia forest of some farmers. They distributed more than 1000 volumes of "Tea-oil camellia cultivation techniques" and "Practical intercropping techniques of tea-oil camellia Garden" in this activity. Many growers were very interested and indicated that they would promote the cultivation of new varieties of tea-oil camellia.

The Coconut Research Institute attaches great importance to scientific and technological services on tea-oil camellia and has repeatedly sent tea-oil camellia technicians to the mountains and countryside to send the latest varieties and technologies to tea-oil camellia growers to promote production and income of tea-oil cultivation and provide the services for the development of Hainan tea-oil industry.
