On July 13, Shudi Li, the manager of the strategy department of Shanghai Westwell Information Technology Co., Ltd., along with her delegation came to Coconut Reaserch Institute to carry out a project cooperation seminar. The two parties conducted an in-depth discussion on the joint research and development project of intelligent and automated oil palm fruit harvesters and reached a cooperation intention which provides new opportunities for the development of oil palm fruit harvesters. The director, Fuyou Wang, and the deputy Director, Hui Wang, and experts from the Oil Palm Research Center attended the forum.
The participants put forward the main problems, difficulties and improvement measures in the research and development process of the oil palm fruit harvester. At the meeting, Shudi Li introduced the research and development plan and the current progress of the oil palm intelligent mechanized fruit harvester in detail. She pointed out that the fruit harvester has functions, such as automatic oil palm harvesting and intelligent identification of fruit ripeness.
The director , Fuyou Wang, pointed out that intelligence and automation of oil palm fruit harvesters are the future development trend, which can greatly improve work efficiency, solve the serious shortage of fruit harvesters, and solve the key problems for the quality improvement and efficiency increase of the oil palm industry. Therefore, the oil palm fruit harvester has great development prospects and new development opportunities. Coconut Research Institute is very interested in the intelligent and automated research and development projects of the oil palm fruit harvester. He also put forward relevant requirements for R&D project cooperation, including division of responsibilities, intellectual property distribution, and revenue ratio sharing. The two parties have reached an agreement on the intelligent and automated research and development project of the oil palm fruit harvester. The next step will be the trial production, optimization and demonstration application of the fruit harvester.
