From late October to early November 2022, the Oil-tea Camellia Research Center of Coconut Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences jointly carried out the yield measurement of new varieties of Oil-tea Camellia in 2022 with experts from Hainan Academy of Forestry and Hainan Academy of Agricultural Sciences. The working group successively carried out on-site yield measurement of new Oil-tea Camellia varieties Reyan 1 and Reyan 2 in Wenchang Xinqiao, Tunchang Xinxing, Nansheng of Wuzhishan and Dingan Yongfeng, among which Reyan 2 had the highest fruit yield, 64.4 kg fresh fruit per six-year-old tree, which set a record for fruit yield per plant of a six-year-old new variety of Oil-tea Camellia.
