On June 24, 2024, at the invitation of the Indonesian oil palm plantation of Julong Group, Dr. Fu Dengqiang from Coconut Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences(CRICATAS) conducted a special training on "Precautions for Oil Palm Fertilizer Management" for plantation managers through video in response to the problems faced by local oil palm plantations, such as soil acidification, lack of scientific basis for fertilization, and low fertilizer utilization rate.

        At the meeting, Dr. Fu Dengqiang gave a detailed explanation of fertilizer types and dosages, nutrient diagnosis methods, key fertilization periods, acid soil improvement methods, fertilizer efficiency test arrangements, etc. The participants listened carefully to the report and conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on the problems in the fertilization process. Everyone agreed that this meeting played an important role in improving the planting technology level of managers.
