Coconut is a main economic crop in Hainan province. In order to break through the negative effects of the Maillard reaction on color and flavor of the final products in traditional direct heating process, we utilized vacuum technology and centrifugal technology at low temperature to prepare condensed coconut milk with high quality level. This technology is conducive to slow the shortage of raw material in non coconut production areas, and also to promote the development of international trade on coconut products. The use of the technology does not affect the concentration of liquid milk production, but also produce 10-15 kg / ton virgin coconut oil as a high value-added by-product. VCO can be directly used as hair care, face cream, skin care and lipstick. Based on the folk experience and previous research data, we have developed VCO as a base oil of compound essential oils that can be directly applied on human’s skin to whiten, dispel freckle or slim. Coconut skin care products (coconut vitality toner, coconut vitality mosturizing lotion, coconut moisturizing mask) have also been successfully sold on the market.

About the date processing technology, we used modern centrifugal separation, concentrating at low temperature, enzymatic techniques to solve some typical problems in dates processing. We are developing some products made with date and some China-featured materials, such as Lingzhi mushroom and Jasmine. There are some tentative products such as date Lingzhi oral liquid, date jasmine tea, dates juice beverage, etc. These products having Arab and Chinese characteristics at the same time play different roles in human organs.
