He received a master's degree in agronomy from Shanxi Agricultural University in 2005 and a doctor's degree in agronomy from South China Agricultural University in 2008. He joined the Coconut Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences in July of the same year, the main research object has been tropical crop diseases and insect pests, the research of integrated control technology,which focuses on safety control and integrates biological control, physical control, chemical emergency control and ecological control have been carried out. He was awarded the third prize for scientific and technological progress in Hainan Province. He was granted 12 patents for inventions and published more than 30 academic papers, including 4 SCI articles and 2 monographs by the chief editor or deputy editor.
