Qi Lan, female, come from Henan province, Xinxiang city, she was engaged in betel nut genetic breeding research field. She received a bachelor's degree from Henan University of Science and Technology in 2006, a master's degree in agronomy from Hainan University in 2010, and a doctorate in agronomy from Hainan University in 2017. After that, she entered the Coconut Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences to work for betel nut genetic breeding research.

Participated in 4 National Natural Science Foundations, published 5 papers in domestic academic journals and 2 SCI papers. He won the second prize of Hainan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award and the eighth finisher.

The research direction is the identification and evaluation of betel nut germplasm resources, genetic diversity analysis, innovative germplasm of betel nut by hybrid breeding, genetic map construction, etc., and is committed to the cultivation of excellent new varieties.
