Research Area and Work performance

He has been engaged in the research of plant nutrition analysis of coconut, areca and oil palm, etc.

since 1995. He used diagnosis and recommendation integratedsys-tem to do vast analysis for Hainan betelnut plantation, and formulated technical stand-ardof betelnut fertilizer formula, which was largely applied on betelnut fertilization. He led his lab members to breed the first new betelnut variety “Reyan No.1” in China and developed three types of betelnut series special fertilizer, which has gained three national invention patents, and the fertilizer was largely popularized and applied in Hainan province. Recently, a wireless video precise application method has been invented for betelnut trees, which is being widely used in palm trees.
