　　Dong Zhiguo, a coconut scientist, received his master's degree of Science in Crop cultivation and Tillage(2006) from the South China Agricultural University, China.

　　Research Area

　　He mainly engaged in coconut and other tropical crops cultivation, nutrition diagnosis and forest planting and other research work. he undertook Presided over, participated in more than 10 projects, such as 948 projects, the Ministry of Agriculture public welfare industry (agriculture) special, Ministry of Agricultural structure adjustment projects, provincial fund projects, provincial key projects and so on.  More than 20 papers have been published, editor-in-chief and deputy editor-in-chief of 3 monographs.
