Education Background

Sun Chengxu graduated from Henan Institute of Science and Technology with a bachelor's degree in Horticulture (2000) and a master's degree in crop cultivation and tillage from Ningxia University (2007).

Research Area

Sun Chenxu mainly engaged in coconut and other tropical woody oil (economic palm) crop breeding and cultivation research. Cold resistance physiology, resource selection and adaptation were studied. As the first completer identification of Wenye No.5 and Wenye No.,6 Sun Chenxu completed 4 local standards of Hainan and constructed of geographical indications of agricultural products in "Wenchang Coconut".
