　　Chen Siting, a plant geneticist, received her master's degree of Science in Agricultural extension(2007) from the Hainan University, China.

　　Research Area

　　Chen Siting mainly engaged in coconut and other tropical crop cultivation, nutrition diagnosis and forest planting and other research work. Chen Siting hold and participated in more than 20 scientific projects, such as 948 projects (sub-projects), the Ministry of Agriculture public welfare industry (agriculture) special, Ministry of Agricultural structure adjustment projects, provincial fund projects, provincial key projects and so on. The research system of the integration of coconut garden planting and raising sheep has been established, and more than 20 papers have been published, editor-in-chief and deputy editor-in-chief of 7 monographs, 2 patents have been approved, 1 second prize of Hainan Provincial Achievement Transformation Award and 1 third prize of Hainan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award.
